European Dragon Ball fans are in for a treat when this Nintendo 3DS “Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butōden” Bundle is released on October 16th, 2015. No word on whether or not we will see this come to North American markets, though we do know Extreme Butoden will see a North American release in October as well. I didn't play Extreme Butoden, but I did play Dragon Ball Fusions, which was pretty fun game for DBZ fans, but it's an RPG and not a fighting game. It has a cool mechanic where you can fuse multiple Z fighters to make new characters. For Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden on the 3DS, GameFAQs has 66 cheat codes and secrets. All I ask if you you guys to add my friend code and reply me yours so that. Outside of Super Smash Bros., it feels like there's something of a gap in the 3DS library when it comes to fighters, so the overseas arrival of Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden is a welcome one.

Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butōden (ドラゴンボールZ
Gameplay[edit]
Much like Dragon Ball Z: Budokai, characters from the Dragon Ball series can be played to battle it out.[citation needed]
Development[edit]
The game was first revealed at NintendoEverything.com on February 17, 2015.[2]On June 13, 2015, a retailer added a poster hinting a possible localization.[3]
Release[edit]
For those who pre-ordered the game in the UK through retailer GAME, or in the US through online retailer Amazon, would receive an email with a code to download the Japanese version of Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden 2. They would also receive 6 extra Z Assist support characters via an additional code sent a few days following the games release. This extra content was also available through pre-ordering the game digitally via the Nintendo eShop or through purchasing the Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butōden New 3DS bundle through Nintendo's UK online store. The pre-order characters included Kid Goku, Baby Goku, Kid Gohan, Super Garlic Jr., Super Vegito, and Meta-Cooler.[citation needed]
An additional patch, released in November 2016 in Japan, allows support for local or online multiplayer, crossover cross-play between the game and One Piece: Great Pirate Colosseum, which was also developed by Arc System Works.[4] The latter title is currently only available in Japan.[citation needed]
Reception[edit]
Extreme Butōden currently has a score of 60% on Metacritic.[5]Destructoid awarded it a score of 5 out of 10, saying 'It’s a competent fighter with nice sprite work, but it also does very little interesting with narrative presentation, combat mechanics, or gameplay modes.'[6]
The game sold 74,660 copies within its first week of release in Japan.[7] By the end of the year, it had sold 150,989 copies in Japan.[8]
